Our History

GROUNDBREAKING SENSOR TECHNOLOGY LAUNCHED

Since it’s founding in 1995, the organization has spearheaded connecting the local and international communities
through the annual Vancouver Tap Dance Festival, and has been the most prolific presenter of professional tapdance shows in the Lower Mainland.
TapCo has reached an audience of over 100,000 since it’s inception inspiring young audiences through
seasonal tours in the greater Vancouver area facilitated by ArtStarts.
In 2011 VanTap purchased its current location at 2775 East Hastings Street solidifying its presence and
investment in the local community.
